Film is on a round reel with visible film. Keep boxes and labels with their reels, count what you have, and note any format labels or condition concerns. A photo is optional if you need identification help.

A small cassette marked Video8, Hi8, or Digital8 is a camcorder tape, even though its name includes “8.” If your box contains reels and tapes, describe each group so the quote covers both.

No. Video8, Hi8, and Digital8 are camcorder tape formats in cassettes. This service is for 8mm and Super 8 film on reels. If you have both, include them in the same quote request and describe the groups separately.

How will I receive my film transfers and originals?+

Private Google Drive delivery is included. You can request a USB drive or optional DVDs if those suit your family better. Your original reels are returned after the project unless you approve a different plan.

Can I arrange a local handoff or mail my reels?+

Yes. Local handoffs in the Appleton and Fox Cities area are arranged directly with Aaron around your schedules. Mail-in service is available across the United States. Start with a quote and wait for handoff or shipping instructions before bringing or mailing originals.
