Quotes and project scope

Quotes depend on media type, quantity, condition, delivery method, timeline, and project complexity. A quote should be confirmed before work begins.

Media condition

Many tapes, films, photos, slides, and audio recordings can still be digitized, but condition varies. Past Forward Convert does not guarantee that every item can be recovered or that aging media will produce perfect quality.

Original media

Customers keep their original media after the project is complete. Originals should be handled carefully, but fragile or aging media can carry inherent risk.

Delivery

Digital files may be delivered by Google Drive, USB, or optional DVD add-ons. Large uploads may take time to complete and process.

Mail-in projects

Mail-in customers should confirm a quote and packing plan before shipping originals. Use tracking and protective packaging.
