About
A practical, personal way to preserve family history.
Past Forward Convert exists for families who have old media that cannot be replaced: childhood videos, weddings, grandparents, holidays, school concerts, and voices they want to hear again.
Mission
This is memory preservation, not just a file transfer.
Old media can feel intimidating: unknown tape sizes, unlabeled reels, aging photos, or recordings no one can play anymore. The goal is to make the next step feel clear, careful, and doable.
Warm, local, and honest
This is not a pressure-heavy repair counter. It is a clear service for families, estate organizers, schools, churches, and local organizations that need help preserving memories with care. Projects are handled personally by Aaron W., so customers know who has their memories and what happens next.
Digital files first
Google Drive and USB delivery are emphasized because they are easier to share, duplicate, and back up. DVD copies are available when they help a specific family member.
Treat every tape like it belongs to my own family.
Communicate honestly about condition and results.
Make the process simple before asking anyone to commit.

Trust
Past Forward Convert is built around clear expectations.
Many tapes and films can still be digitized, but condition varies. If there are issues, you should hear that plainly.
