How it works

A simple process for a box that may feel overwhelming.

You do not need technical knowledge or a perfect inventory. The first step is simply telling Past Forward Convert what you think you have.

The process

From old media to files your family can actually use.

Each step is meant to be understandable, calm, and practical.

  1. 1

    Tell me what you have

Send a list, a rough count, or a photo of the media. You do not need to know every format.

  2. 2

    Get a no-pressure quote

You will get clear pricing guidance and practical options based on the project.

  3. 3

Drop off or mail in your media

Local customers can coordinate in the Appleton area. Mail-in customers receive packing guidance.

  4. 4

    Your memories are digitized

Originals are handled carefully, and condition issues are communicated clearly.

  5. 5

    Receive your files

Choose Google Drive, USB, or optional DVD copies if your family still uses discs.

  6. 6

    Share with family

Forward a private link, hand off a USB drive, or make copies for relatives.

Reassurance

You keep the originals, and communication stays clear.

Original tapes, film, photos, slides, and audio recordings are returned. If a condition issue appears, you get an honest update.
