This does not turn old tape into 4K or 8K video. The original camera, tape format, lighting, age, and playback condition still set the ceiling for what can be improved.
Every tape is different. Some videos improve dramatically, some improve only slightly, and some fragile or poor-quality recordings may be best preserved as a standard transfer.
